All signs point to JP having that break-out year we have all been expecting for a while now. But with a QB controversy and a destined RBBC approach to the running game in Oakland I am not sure 04 is the year of Porter. I love him as a bench player with huge upside. But as a depended upon starter Porter could very easily dissapoint.
 
Marshal Faulk carried my teams for years. And for that I am grateful. But that was then and this is now. He is 31 and simply can not stay off the injury list. We are witnessing the physical unraveling of one of the most talented backs I have ever seen play. That said... he is a solid number two back for another year maybe two. After that it will be Stephen Jackson's turn. - Tom Robitaille
